Anna-Marie Smith is a Boss with Locs who is providing financial education and counseling for free to Asheville’s Black community as well as serving as a Director for a local non-profit called Green Opportunities. We join Anna-Marie as we take a deep dive into what it's like to be Black in a city known for being "progressive" and how it can actually be anything but that for Black people.

We also speak on the realities of being Black and apart of the LGBTQIA+ community, mental health, and I receive some free finance tips.
